Using this website

This website describes the services of [Legal business name], doing business as Penwood Press. Information on it is general and does not form a contract.

Your project agreement

Before any work begins, you receive a written proposal and agreement with the scope, milestones, price, payment schedule and revision rounds. That signed agreement controls your project.

Payments, cancellations and refunds

Projects are paid in milestones: 50% to begin, 25% after you approve the midpoint milestone, and 25% after you approve your finished book, before publication. If work has not started, your deposit is fully refundable within 7 days. If we miss an agreed milestone date by more than 14 days for reasons on our side, you may cancel and receive a refund for any milestone not yet delivered. Your signed agreement sets the exact amounts and dates.

Your rights and royalties

You keep 100% of the rights and royalties to your book. Your book is published in accounts that belong to you.

No guarantees of sales

We do not guarantee sales, rankings, reviews, awards or royalties. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

Independence

Penwood Press is not affiliated with Amazon, Kindle Direct Publishing, IngramSpark or any retailer.
